We all live and work with the products we sell.
Leif Juell
Alternative Power Enterprises' President Leif Juell, started the company in 1992 after experiencing first hand the rewards of living off-the-grid. Soon after installing his own system neighbors began calling and asking him to install solar power systems to power their homes. Now builders, architects, business, and residential clients count on Alternative Power Enterprises expertise to design cost effective power solutions for on- and off-grid locations. All of Alternative Power Enterprises clients are seeking to reduce their dependence on the utility grid and lower their energy and heating costs. As President, Leif is leading the company to provide renewable energy systems and services for space heating, water heating, and electrical power with the same goal as the Zero Energy Home movement--to make each building energy efficient, energy generating, and balanced with the energy needs of its owners and occupants. As a father of two sons he is motivated in implementing the use of sustainable energy now, to provide a sustainable world and preserve resources for future generations.
Leif has a strong electrical and electronics background, and a B.S. in Broadcast Engineering. Under his leadership Alternative Power Enterprises is certified and qualified to design, install, and service renewable energy systems of all kinds. Alternative Power Enterprises is knowledgeable of leading alternative power technologies and is an active attendee of technical and certification trainings and workshops.

With the addition of a child and a move closer to Montrose, a somewhat larger 3kw solar electric system is being installed on the Delaney home. Tim has a B.A. in Business Administration and has 15 years of experience in complex system management. He also oversees operation of the Montrose warehouse and the sister company, Alternative Power Distribution, a full service solar thermal equipment supplier. Feel free to contact Tim for any questions about a renewable energy system for your home.
